Slingbabies group information

Slingbabies is a real-life group as well as an informative website.
We meet each 1st Friday of the month, at the Stuges West Community House, 58 Summerland Dr, Henderson, West Auckland. The meeting runs from 10am-12noon, babies/toddlers welcome. It is free to attend, but a gold coin donation is appreciated.
Jessica (the founder of Slingbabies), and her team of instructors- Julie, Rochelle, Shelley, and Jacquie are at every meeting to help with fitting, carry methods and membership.
New people/members are always welcome, so come along and see what the excitement is about!
When you join Slingbabies, you get the use of the sling library, monthly meetings, support and sling help, and get to know other sling mummies.
Annual membership is $20. Sling library borrowing is additional to this, see below. We always welcome new members, it's so nice to be part of a growing group of like-minded people, and continue spreading the babywearing love!
Together we can show NZ that baby slings rock! (Or just get our dinner cooked in peace)

Slingbabies 'sling library'
The main reason for our sling library is for people to trial carriers they are curious about or are considering buying.
It is not a long-term hire service, and carriers are to be loaned once only.
Use of the sling library is primarily for Slingbabies real-life members only.
Any exceptions are entirely at my discretion.
Lending conditions are as follows:
Members - $5 per carrier for two weeks.
Return of carrier to be at following coffee morning, or arranged with me. One carrier loaned at a time.
(Non-members may not borrow carriers but are welcome to try on at meetings.)
A $5 late fee applies for carriers not returned within the weekend of that fortnight period.
Loaning conditions:
- You take full
responsibility for the safety of your child whilst using a Slingbabies
loaner carrier.
- Carrier loan is $5 per two
weeks for members, payable in advance and additional to membership.
- There is a $5 late fee
if not returned by the due date. You can
opt to post a carrier back at your cost, via Track & Trace.
- You are liable to pay
50% replacement cost up to a limit of $100 should a carrier be damaged in
your care and/ or need replacing.
- You agree to take
excellent care of any carriers loaned, and not to wash them.
